Awful. Whilst the end of tenancy clean in general was average, the cleaners caused a large dark blue/purple stain on the carpet. I had checked the house before hand and the stain did not exist. When I went to look at the property after the clean the stain had appeared. I contacted the company manager who told me it wasn’t them and it had already been there. I explained that the stain was still wet and the colour came up on my hand when I touched it- therefore clearly new, they told me it was simply wet because they had cleaned the carpets. The rest of the carpet was dry- so this makes no sense. Having done some research- the stain is most likely either dirty extraction water or concentrated chemical residue leaked from a carpet cleaning machine. They are lying to cover their backs at my expense and trying to gas light me into believing I did this myself with a pen. Even called me ‘unfair’ for suggesting they were responsible. Their staff came on time, fully dressed in their protective gear. They fully renovated the attic. They vacuumed, cleaned, and disinfected the entire area.
